— Saturday’s dual team boys tennis state championships have been moved to an indoor facility due to the threat of inclement weather, according to the N.C. High School Athletic Association.

The association said Friday afternoon that the dual team tennis state championships will be moved to the Piedmont Indoor Tennis Center in Greensboro. They were scheduled to be held at the Burlington Tennis Center, which is an outdoor facility.

There is a threat of rain and storms throughout the day on Saturday, which prompted the NCHSAA to move the state championships.

Play will begin at 8:30 a.m. with the 1A and 3A state championships. The 2A and 4A championships are scheduled to begin at approximately 12:30 p.m.

8:30 AM: 1A Championship — #3 Voyager Academy (10-4) vs. #4 Bishop McGuinness (16-1)

8:30 AM: 3A Championship — #7 Carrboro (18-2) vs. #3 Hickory (14-0)

12:30 PM: 2A Championship — #4 NC Science & Math (10-0) vs. #12 Pine Lake Prep (12-1)

12:30 PM: 4A Championship — #4 Green Hope (18-1) vs. #7 Marvin Ridge (16-2)
