PORTSMOUTH – The Portsmouth High School girls tennis team remained undefeated on the season with a 9-0 win against Coe-Brown on Tuesday in a Division II match.

Portsmouth is now 9-0 on the season. The Clippers will play host to Souhegan, the only other undefeated team in Division II, on Friday.

Elizabeth Drakatos (No. 1, 8-1), Caylie Cook (No. 2, 8-2), Molly Mikkonen (No. 3, 8-4), Harini Subramanian (No. 4, 8-4), Hasya Karthik (No. 5, 8-6), and Sydney Conner (No. 6, 8-2) all won their respective singles matches for the Clippers in this Division II match. 

Sophia Jundi and Drakatos won 8-2 at No. 1 doubles, Cook and Mikkonen won 8-1 at No. 2, and Subramanian and Karthik won 8-5 at No. 3. 

GIRLS TENNIS 

St. Thomas Aquinas 9 

Manchester West 0 

DOVER – Katie Carignan (No. 1, 8-0), Alexandra Knox (No. 2, 8-0), Diana Pivirotto (No. 3, 8-2), Julia Behre (No. 4, 8-0), Emma Lane (No. 5, 8-2) and Maggie Wade (No. 6, 8-2) all won in singles action for St. Thomas Aquinas (6-4). 

Carignan and Knox won 8-0 at No. 1 doubles, Behre and Pivirotto won 8-0 at No. 2, and Wade and Anna Seifert won 8-0 at No. 3. 

BOYS TENNIS 

Spaulding 7 

Merrimack 2 

ROCHESTER – Nick Gagnon (No. 1, 8-5), Ben McGeehan (No. 4, 8–1), Jackson Emrich (No. 5, 8-1) and Cam Bastien (No. 6, 8-1) all won in singles action for Spaulding in this Division I match 

Gagnon and Cam Brochu won 8-2 at No. 1 doubles, DeAndre Rawls and Anthony DeBellis won 8-1 at No. 2, and Emrich and Bastien won 8-1 at No. 3. 

Coe-Brown 6 

Portsmouth 3 

NORTHWOOD – Raphael Hey Tenne (No. 2, 8-3) and Charlie Anderson (No. 6, 8-6) won their respective singles matches for Portsmouth in this Division II match. 

Aiden Shilman and Hey Tenne won 8-3 at No. 1 doubles. 

SOFTBALL 

Noble 12 

Marshwood 2 

SOUTH BERWICK, Maine – Jadyn Eastman and Erin Lindgren both had two hits for Marshwood in this Class A South loss. 

Mackenzie Davis had a hit and an RBI for the Hawks. 

Maranacook 12
